Dr. Stapleton was my mother’s doctor from the start before she opened her practice and was even married. My other had her as a doctor for over 21 years then we moved away. We are planning to move back to Charleston and now I’m married and my mother plans to come back to her and my husband and I plan to have her as our dictor as well. Momma and I adore her.

I am very fortunate not to have many health problems. Dr. Sarah Stapleton has always been there for me through visits, calls or online contact. She is an excellent physician and cares very much about her patients.

Dr Sarah Stapleton has been my primary care physician for more than 10 yrs after I began to experience several serious medical issues. I'm most appreciative for the excellent choices she's made with referrals to critical care specialist MD's. I'm speaking as survivor of a wide range of medical ailments from childhood polio-4 spin surgeries and most recently a thankful cancer survivor. I truly feel that she is a wonderful personal physician to me and many others like me who place great trust and value in the MDVIP program!!!

I strongly feel that Dr. Sarah Stapleton saved my life during a period of extremely high stress in my professional life while dealing with multiple heath issues. She used her amazing medical knowledge to direct me to some of the best MD Specialists in our area taking full advantage of the MUSC quality services system and fully coordinated excellent follow-up care. Dr. S. continued to manage my complex medical care through a difficult transitional period to retirement and beyond for the past seven years. I have never received 5 STAR from any other Primary Care MD until I met Dr. Sarah Stapleton and her staff!!!!!!!!!!!

As we've told friends, Dr. Stapleton is perhaps the best trained internist in Charleston with a superior record of excellence that started before college, then continued into medical school and post-graduate training at Johns Hopkins. She is a superb listener. She articulates simply and clearly her thoughts, our medical issues, and study reports -- all with a positive attitude and (appropriate) sense of humor. Dr. Stapleton is a very competent, professional and caring physician. She truly cares about her patients and goes out of her way to ensure that they get the best possible medical care possible. She is accessible and responsive. She advocates for her patients with other physicians and caregivers. My husband and I are truly fortunate to have her as our primary care doctor.

My husband and i have been with Dr. Stapelton for over 6 years. I really appreciate that she keeps up with all the specialists reports and knows the whole picture of my health. I always get a quick response, within the day ,from the MUSC My Chart website that allows you to send a message to her. She is the best doctor we have had. Now, I have moved 5 hours away, but I still drive to Charleston to see her. She's well worth it.
